I am currently a lactation consultant (IBCLC) and I’ve been an RN for 25 years. Most of my career has focused on working with children and families in their homes through community-based programs and one-on-one visits.

For 5 years, I oversaw a teen parent program at a Florida high school and started a breast/chestfeeding program. Teen parents breastfed their infants at a much higher rate than the average. We saw a significant reduction in infections among babies in our program, which allowed parents to stay in school and complete their education.  This inspired me to become a lactation consultant.

I bring 20 years of knowledge in herbalism and nutrition to benefit new families and create a custom experience for you. I have taken many classes including the Master Class for IBCLCs, Herbalism for Lactation and Allergies to gain a better understanding of tongue-ties and other clinically complicated feeding issues.
